Field Trip + Educational Farm Visit
Bring learning to life with a hands-on educational visit to a working family farm.
Service Description
Some things make more sense once you’ve seen them growing. Wendland Family Farm welcomes schools, homeschool groups, youth organizations, clubs, and other educational groups for farm visits designed to connect learning with real agriculture. Visits are adapted to the age of the group, season, group size, and learning goals. Depending on what’s happening on the farm, topics may include flowers and flower production, vegetables, culinary herbs, pollinators, soil, plant life cycles, regenerative agriculture, seasonality, harvesting, and how a working diversified farm operates. Whenever possible, we believe children should do more than simply hear about agriculture. We want them to observe, ask questions, explore, and experience it firsthand. Pricing and visit details are customized based on your group. Tell us who you’re bringing, the ages of your learners, approximate group size, and what you’d most like them to experience.
Cancellation Policy
All bookings are final and non-refundable. We understand that plans can change. If you need to reschedule, please contact Wendland Family Farm at least 48 hours before your scheduled booking. With adequate notice, your reservation may be moved to another available date or time. Rescheduling is subject to farm availability, seasonality, and the availability of the experience originally booked. Requests made with less than 48 hours’ notice, missed appointments, and no-shows are not eligible for rescheduling or credit. Because Wendland Family Farm is a working farm, weather, field conditions, crop availability, or other circumstances beyond our control may occasionally require us to postpone an experience. If Wendland Family Farm needs to postpone your booking, your reservation will be rescheduled for another available date. Refunds will not be issued. Photography add-ons, including farm-grown bouquets, are non-refundable. By booking, you acknowledge and agree to this policy.
