The Farm Stand
Our Farm Stand is one of the simplest ways to bring a little piece of Wendland Family Farm home.
​
Throughout the season, we stock it with farm-grown and farm-made goods based on what is currently available.
​
You may find fresh bouquets one visit and baskets of vegetables the next.
There may be bunches of herbs, Farm Pantry products, seasonal goods, plants, pumpkins, gourds, or something new we're trying.
​
And sometimes the stand gets cleaned out faster than we expected.
That's part of shopping directly from a small farm.
We don't order inventory from a warehouse.
We grow it.
What You Might Find
The Farm Stand changes right along with the fields.

If you see something you love, don't assume it'll still be there next week.

Fresh Means Seasonal
Shopping from a local farm looks a little different from shopping at a grocery store.
There isn't a truck arriving every morning to replace what sold yesterday.
​
If the tomatoes aren't ripe, we don't have tomatoes.
If the flowers aren't blooming, we don't cut them.
If frost ends a crop, its season is over.
​
And if something produces far more than we expected, you might suddenly see a lot of it.
We follow the field.
​
That means availability can change from day to day and week to week.
It also means that when you bring something home from Wendland Family Farm, you're experiencing a small piece of what is happening in our fields at that exact point in the growing season.

We think that's pretty special.
Farm Pickup
The farm is also a pickup point for many Wendland Family Farm orders and memberships.
​
Depending on the offering, customers may pick up CSA shares, flower subscriptions, preordered products, seasonal goods, and other purchases directly from the farm.
​
Pickup instructions are provided with the specific product or membership so you'll always know when and where your order will be ready.
​
Because we're a working farm, please follow the pickup instructions provided rather than assuming someone will always be available.
​
There's a very good chance Erica is somewhere in a field.

Farmers markets are about much more than setting up a table and selling what we grew.

Throughout market season, Wendland Family Farm participates in the West Point Farmers Market, bringing a changing selection of farm-grown and farm-made goods based on what's available.

Our market table may include flowers, vegetables, herbs, Farm Pantry goods, seasonal products, and other harvests from the farm.
The exact selection is never quite the same twice.
West Point Farmers Market
We love being part of a market right here in our own community.

The West Point Farmers Market creates a place for local farmers, growers, makers, small businesses, families, and neighbors to gather throughout the market season.

It's somewhere you can buy directly from the people who grew, baked, raised, created, or made what you're taking home.
And that matters.
