Important Notice: Liability Waiver & Release of Claims

Welcome to Wendland Family Farm!

Please read this form carefully. This waiver must be completed before entering the farm or participating in any activity.

Our goal is to provide a safe, enjoyable experience for everyone while maintaining a working farm environment.

Section 1: Important Notice

Wendland Family Farm is a working farm. By entering the premises, you acknowledge and accept the following:

I understand that Wendland Family Farm is not liable for any trips, falls, accidents, injuries, bee stings, allergic reactions, or property damage that may occur during my visit.

I understand that closed-toe shoes are strongly recommended for safety and comfort.

I understand that all guests are required to sign this waiver prior to admission to U-Pick fields or participation in any farm event.

Section 2: Assumption of Risk

I understand that participation in any activity at Wendland Family Farm — including U-Pick sessions, bouquet workshops, tours, photography sessions, fitness events, and private gatherings — involves inherent risks such as:

Uneven terrain, holes, mud, and natural hazards
Exposure to insects, bees, and wildlife
Weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, wind)
Physical activity (walking, bending, lifting)
Use of farm tools, buckets, vases, and other equipment
Contact with plants, pollen, and other allergens

I voluntarily assume all risks of injury, illness, or property damage that may occur during my visit.

Section 3: Health & Safety Agreement

Please confirm you agree to follow these basic safety practices:

I will wear appropriate clothing and shoes. Closed-toe shoes recommended.

I will supervise minors under my care at all times.

I will follow all posted signs and staff instructions.

I will stay within designated areas and avoid restricted zones.

Section 4: Waiver and Release of Liability

In consideration of being permitted to enter and participate in farm activities, I hereby release, discharge, and hold harmless Wendland Family Farm LLC, its owners, employees, volunteers, and representatives from any and all claims, liability, or damages arising from injury, illness, death, or property loss occurring on the premises.

I agree that it is my intention to exempt and relieve Wendland Family Farm LLC from liability for personal injury or property damage caused by negligence or any other cause, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Section 5: Media Release

Would you allow the farm to use photos or videos from your visit for promotional or educational purposes?
