Six weeks of seasonal vegetables and fresh culinary herbs grown at Wendland Family Farm.
Six weeks of farm-grown vegetables + fresh culinary herbs.
Eat with the season.
The 2027 Veggie + Herb CSA Membership brings six weeks of seasonal vegetables and fresh culinary herbs from Wendland Family Farm to your kitchen.
What you receive changes as the farm changes.
One week may bring tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini, and basil. Another may look completely different.
That's the beauty of Community Supported Agriculture.
You're not ordering from a grocery list.
You're becoming part of the growing season.

Grown Here
Your CSA is built around food grown at Wendland Family Farm in West Point, Iowa.
We grow according to the season rather than trying to make every week look the same.
That means your share reflects what's actually happening in the garden—what's abundant, what's ready, and what's especially good that week.
When Does the CSA Begin?
The Veggie + Herb CSA runs for six consecutive weeks during the 2027 growing season.
Because we're working with living plants rather than a factory production schedule, exact start dates depend on crop readiness, weather, and the growing season.
Members will receive communication before the CSA begins with pickup dates and everything needed for the season.
CSA Pickup
Shares will be picked up at Wendland Family Farm during the designated weekly pickup window.
Specific pickup instructions and timing will be communicated to members before the season begins.
Members are responsible for picking up their share during the designated pickup period.
What Is CSA?
CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture.
Instead of waiting until harvest to purchase whatever happens to be available, CSA members commit to the farm before the season.
Your membership helps support seeds, supplies, planting, tending, harvesting, and all the work that happens long before the first tomato makes it into your kitchen.
Then, when harvest arrives, you share in what the farm produces.
It's a different way of buying food.
And a much closer way of knowing where it came from.
Eating With the Season
CSA isn't designed to provide exactly the same quantity or selection every week.
Some crops thrive.
Others struggle.
Weather changes.
Harvests come earlier or later than expected.
And sometimes one vegetable decides it's going to produce enough for the entire county.
Your weekly share follows the real growing season.
That's part of the CSA experience.
