Growing at Home

Summer squash loves sunshine, warmth, and room to grow.

Plant outdoors after the danger of frost has passed and the soil has warmed. Choose a location that receives plenty of direct sunlight and has rich, well-drained soil.

Water consistently, especially while plants are flowering and producing fruit.

Harvest squash regularly while fruits are young and tender. Frequent harvesting encourages plants to continue producing throughout the season.
