Fresh, earthy roots harvested straight from the market garden.
Fresh turnips, grown and harvested right here at Wendland Family Farm.
Crisp, earthy, and slightly sweet, fresh turnips are a versatile garden vegetable that can be enjoyed from root to leaf. Slice young turnips fresh into salads, roast them alongside other root vegetables, mash them like potatoes, or add them to soups and stews. The tender greens can be cooked and enjoyed, too.
Our turnips are harvested in small batches throughout the growing season and bundled fresh for your kitchen.
Ways to Use It

How to Keep It Fresh
Keep fresh turnips refrigerated until ready to use.
If your turnips come with their greens attached, remove the greens before storing to help the roots keep longer. Store the roots in a produce bag or covered container in the refrigerator and keep the greens separately.
The greens are edible and can be sautéed, added to soups, or prepared like other cooking greens.
