Crisp, mild kohlrabi harvested straight from the market garden.
Fresh kohlrabi, grown and harvested right here at Wendland Family Farm.
Crisp, mildly sweet, and wonderfully versatile, kohlrabi is one of those garden vegetables that may look a little unusual but is surprisingly easy to use. Peel and slice the bulb for fresh snacking, shred it into slaws, roast it alongside other vegetables, or sauté it for a simple garden-grown side.
Our kohlrabi is harvested in small batches throughout the growing season and gathered fresh for your kitchen.
Ways to Use It
Fresh snacking • slaws • salads • roasting • sautéing • grilling • soups • stir-fries • vegetable sides • pickling
How to Keep It Fresh
Keep fresh kohlrabi refrigerated until ready to use.
If the leaves are attached, remove them before storing to help the bulbs keep longer. Store the bulbs in a produce bag or covered container in the refrigerator and keep the greens separately if you'd like to use them.
The tender leaves are edible and can be prepared much like kale or other cooking greens.
