Crisp, hearty heads harvested straight from the market garden.

Fresh cabbage, grown and harvested right here at Wendland Family Farm.

Crisp, hearty, and wonderfully versatile, fresh cabbage is one of those garden vegetables that can find its way into meals throughout the week. Shred it into fresh slaws and salads, sauté it for an easy side, add it to soups and skillet meals, or turn it into sauerkraut and other preserved favorites.

Our cabbage is harvested in small batches throughout the growing season and gathered fresh for your kitchen.

Ways to Use It

Coleslaw • salads • sautéing • roasting • soups • stir-fries • skillet meals • cabbage rolls • sauerkraut • preserving

How to Keep It Fresh

Keep fresh cabbage refrigerated until ready to use.

Store the whole head dry and loosely wrapped or in a produce bag in the refrigerator.

Once cut, wrap the remaining cabbage and keep refrigerated. For longer preservation, cabbage can also be fermented, pickled, or frozen using your preferred preservation method.
