Earthy, colorful roots harvested straight from the market garden.
Fresh beets, grown and harvested right here at Wendland Family Farm.
Earthy, naturally sweet, and beautifully colorful, fresh beets are a versatile garden vegetable that can be enjoyed from root to leaf. Roast the roots until tender, slice them into salads, pickle them for later, or sauté the tender beet greens so even more of the harvest makes its way to the table.
Our beets are harvested in small batches throughout the growing season and gathered fresh for your kitchen.
Ways to Use It
Roasting • salads • pickling • soups • grilling • vegetable sides • grain bowls • beet greens • preserving
How to Keep It Fresh
Keep fresh beets refrigerated until ready to use.
If your beets come with their greens attached, remove the greens before storing to help the roots keep longer. Store the roots in a produce bag or covered container in the refrigerator and keep the greens separately.
For longer preservation, beets can also be pickled, canned, or frozen using your preferred preservation method.
