Tender spring spears harvested straight from the farm.
Fresh asparagus, grown and harvested right here at Wendland Family Farm.
Tender, crisp, and one of the first fresh tastes of the growing season, asparagus is a spring favorite worth waiting for. Roast it with garlic and herbs, toss it on the grill, sauté it for a simple side, or add it to pastas, eggs, salads, and other fresh spring meals.
Our asparagus is hand-harvested in small batches during its naturally short season and gathered fresh for your kitchen.
Ways to Use It
Roasting • grilling • sautéing • steaming • salads • pasta • eggs • quiche • soups • risotto • fresh spring sides
How to Keep It Fresh
Keep fresh asparagus refrigerated until ready to use.
For best quality, trim the ends and stand the spears upright in a jar or container with a small amount of water. Loosely cover and refrigerate.
Enjoy as soon as possible after harvest for the best flavor and texture. For longer preservation, asparagus can also be blanched and frozen or pickled.

From Our Market Garden
Asparagus is one of those crops that teaches patience. It returns with the spring, gives us a short window to gather its tender spears, and marks the beginning of another growing season on the farm.
We harvest ours right here on the farm so you can enjoy one of the first fresh tastes of the season.
Fresh from our farm to your table.
