2026 Veggie + Herb CSA Subscription
Wendland Family Farm – 2026 Veggie + Herb CSA Terms & Conditions
By purchasing a Wendland Family Farm Veggie + Herb CSA Subscription — for yourself or as a gift — you agree to the following terms and conditions.
We grow seasonally, sustainably, and with intention — upholding small-town values of honesty, community, and shared harvests. Here’s what you should know before joining our farm table.
1. Your CSA Share
By purchasing a Veggie + Herb CSA subscription, your spot for the 2026 season is officially reserved.
Your subscription is a share of the season’s harvest — box by box — designed to connect you with locally grown vegetables and herbs.
Because produce is planned, seeded, and grown long before harvest, all CSA subscription sales are final and non-refundable once purchased.
If you are unable to use your share, you may transfer or gift your spot to a friend or family member at any time.
2. Gifting a Subscription
If you purchase a Veggie + Herb CSA as a gift, it is your responsibility to share these terms with the recipient.
We will send the recipient email communication about the CSA after purchase so they receive all updates directly.
3. Seasonal Share Details
This CSA offering runs for 6 consecutive weeks during the peak growing season.
-
Veggie + Herb CSA — 6 Weeks — $150 total ($25 per week)
-
Veggie + Herb + Flower CSA — 6 Weeks — $275 total (includes one handcrafted flower bouquet each week in addition to produce)
Both options include a weekly share reserved just for you, featuring a seasonal mix of fresh vegetables and herbs. Contents will vary each week based on what’s ripe and ready — this variability is part of what makes eating seasonally so special.
Limited subscriptions are available for the 2026 season to ensure quality and consistency.
4. Harvest & Pickup Timing
Your CSA season typically runs during the peak of summer harvest. You will receive an email approximately two weeks before the first pickup with:
-
Exact seasonal start date
-
Weekly pickup instructions
-
Weekly box details
It is your responsibility to monitor communications and notify us if you are not receiving emails in that timeframe. Please add wendlandfamilyfarm@gmail.com to your contact list and check your spam/promotions folders.
If you have not heard from us by two weeks before expected start dates, please reach out — we’re here to help.
5. Pickup Details & Missed Pickups
You will choose from one of the following pickup options for your weekly CSA box:
-
On-Farm Pickup — Saturdays, 9:00–11:00 AM
-
In-Town Pickup (West Point) — Saturdays (coordinated by email)
-
Farmers Market Pickup — Sundays, 9:00 AM–12:00 PM
If you cannot make your scheduled pickup:
-
You may send a friend, family member, or neighbor to collect your box.
-
If no one collects your box during the designated pickup window, that week’s share will be forfeited.
Because produce is perishable, we cannot hold CSA boxes past the pickup window or accommodate pickups outside scheduled times.
6. The Rewards & Risks of Farming
By joining our CSA, you are directly supporting a small family farm and share in both the joys and uncertainties of agriculture.
Rewards:
-
Fresh, locally grown vegetables and herbs
-
Seasonal variety you won’t find at the grocery store
-
A deeper connection to the rhythms of the growing season
Risks:
-
Weather extremes
-
Pests or disease
-
Drought, flooding, or other crop impacts
Sometimes, natural conditions may limit or delay harvests. While we do everything possible to nurture a full season of produce, the harvest ultimately follows nature’s pace.
7. Produce Quality & Care
Your CSA box contents are harvested fresh and packed with care each week.
Because vegetables and herbs are perishable:
-
It’s your responsibility to handle and refrigerate produce promptly after pickup.
-
We cannot replace produce lost to improper storage, late pickups, or spoilage after pickup.
CSA contents are seasonal and not guaranteed week-to-week in specific varieties listed — this seasonality is part of the CSA experience.
8. Communication Expectations
All CSA communication, including season updates, pickup reminders, and weekly box details, will be sent from wendlandfamilyfarm@gmail.com.
You agree to:
-
Add this email address to your contacts
-
Check spam and promotions folders routinely
-
Notify us if you are not receiving CSA emails
We are not responsible for missed communications due to unread or filtered emails. Missed emails may result in missed pickups or missed boxes.
-
The Dirt — (aka FAQs) all the need-to-knows about your WFF Veggie + Herb CSA
What is a Veggie + Herb CSA?
CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture.
By joining our Veggie + Herb CSA, you’re reserving a weekly share of the farm’s harvest for the season. Each week, you’ll receive a box filled with whatever vegetables and herbs are freshest and ready to harvest.
Every box is:
-
Seasonal
-
Farm-grown
-
Slightly different week to week
Eating with the seasons is part of the magic.
What’s included in the Veggie + Herb CSA?
Each weekly share includes a variety of fresh vegetables and herbs, based on what’s thriving in the fields that week.
Expect a rotating mix of:
-
Seasonal vegetables
-
Fresh culinary herbs
-
Occasionally something new or unexpected
Exact contents vary weekly — CSA boxes are curated by the farm, not customizable.
How long is the CSA?
The Veggie + Herb CSA runs for 6 consecutive weeks during peak harvest season.
Each share is:
-
$25 per week
-
$150 total for the season
Limited shares are available to ensure quality and consistency.
When does the Veggie + Herb CSA start?
The 2026 Veggie + Herb CSA typically begins in mid to late summer, depending on weather and crop timing.
Exact start dates will be emailed about two weeks before the first pickup.
As always, Mother Nature has the final say.
How do I sign up?
Easy!
You can:
-
Order directly through our website
-
Message us on Facebook or Instagram
-
Pay via Venmo, cash, or check (we’ll reserve your spot manually)
Spots are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Can I gift a Veggie + Herb CSA?
Yes! A CSA share makes a thoughtful and practical gift.
Perfect for:
-
Busy families
-
Home cooks
-
Garden lovers
-
Anyone who appreciates fresh, local food
We’re happy to provide a digital or printed gift certificate.
Where do I pick up my CSA box?
You may choose from the following pickup options:
-
On-Farm (West Point): Saturdays, 9–11 AM
-
In Town (West Point): Saturdays (exact details emailed weekly)
-
Farmers Market (West Point): Sundays, 9 AM–12 PM
Pickup locations can be switched if needed — just let us know.
Are quantities limited?
Yes — very intentionally.
We only offer a limited number of CSA shares each season so we can:
-
Grow responsibly
-
Harvest at peak freshness
-
Care well for every crop
Once shares are full, that’s it for the season.
What if I can’t pick up one week?
No problem!
You can:
-
Send a friend, neighbor, or family member to grab your box
If no one picks up your share during the pickup window, that week’s box is forfeited.
Because produce is perishable, we can’t hold boxes for late pickup.
Is this right for me?
A Veggie + Herb CSA is a great fit if you:
-
Enjoy cooking seasonally
-
Like variety in your produce
-
Want to support a local family farm
-
Are flexible and open to what’s growing
If you prefer full control over exact items each week, a farmers market or farm stand might be a better fit — and we love those too!
