How It Works

Our subscription season begins when the flowers are ready — typically late June - early July.

If spring cooperates this year, subscribers may receive a bonus early bouquet (not guaranteed).

We will email you about two weeks before the first pickup with your exact start date and schedule.

Every bouquet is hand-picked, arranged in small batches, and reserved for subscribers only.

  • Wendland Family Farm Flower Subscription Terms & Conditions

By purchasing a Wendland Family Farm Flower Subscription — for yourself or as a gift — you agree to the following terms and conditions.

We keep things simple, honest, and rooted in small-town values. Here’s everything you need to know before you bloom with us.

Your Flower Subscription = Your CSA Share

When you purchase a Let It Bloom (6-week) or In Full Bloom (12-week) flower subscription, your spot is officially reserved for the season.

Because flower farming requires planning far in advance — including seed ordering, planting, labor, materials, and harvest scheduling — all subscription sales are final and non-refundable.

If you are unable to use your share, you may gift or transfer your subscription to a friend or family member at any time.

    Gifting a Subscription

If you purchase a subscription as a gift, it is your responsibility to share these terms with the recipient.

We will email simple instructions so the recipient receives all future CSA communication directly.

    Seasonal Shares & Start Dates

Farming is both magical and unpredictable. Our flower subscription season typically begins late June - early July, with the possibility of an early bonus bouquet if spring blooms arrive ahead of schedule.

Start dates may shift due to factors beyond our control, including:

    • Weather conditions

    • Bloom timing

    • Crop success

    • Other natural variables

We will email you approximately two weeks before your first pickup with your confirmed start date.

    Please note:
    It is your responsibility to:

    • Add wendlandfamilyfarm@gmail.com to your contacts

    • Check spam and promotions folders regularly

    • Notify us if you are not receiving emails

If you have not received communication within two weeks of the expected start date, please reach out — we’re happy to help.

    Pickup Details & Missed Pickups

Your bouquet will be available during the pickup option you selected at checkout:

    • On-Farm: Saturdays, 9–11 AM

    • In Town (West Point): Saturdays (scheduled weekly)

    • Farmers Market: Sundays, 9 AM–12 PM

It is your responsibility to pick up your flowers during the designated pickup window.

If you are unable to attend:

    • You may send a friend, neighbor, or family member to pick up your bouquet

If no one picks up your flowers during the scheduled time, the bouquet is forfeited for that week.

Because flowers are perishable, we cannot hold bouquets past the pickup window or accommodate alternate pickup times.

The Rewards & Risks of Farming

By joining our flower CSA, you are supporting a real, working flower farm and agree to share both the rewards and the risks of agriculture.

    The Rewards:

    • Fresh, farm-grown, seasonal blooms

    • Unique varieties not found in stores

    • Hand-crafted, small-batch bouquets

    The Risks:

    • Weather extremes

    • Pests or disease

    • Drought, flooding, or excessive heat

    • Crop loss or seasonal delays

In rare circumstances, unfavorable conditions or natural disasters may result in a reduced share or delayed harvest. While we do everything possible to ensure a full and abundant season, farming ultimately follows nature’s lead.

    Flower Quality & Care

Flowers are perishable, natural products with a typical vase life of 5–7+ days with proper care.

All bouquets are harvested at peak freshness. Each variety has a unique vase life depending on care and environment.

Once flowers leave the farm, it is the subscriber’s responsibility to follow the provided care instructions.

We cannot replace flowers due to improper care, late pickup, or environmental conditions after pickup.

    Communication Expectations

All subscription communication will be sent from:

    wendlandfamilyfarm@gmail.com

By purchasing a subscription, you agree to:

    • Add this email address to your contacts

    • Check spam and promotions folders

    • Monitor emails for updates and reminders

We are not responsible for missed pickups due to unread or filtered emails.

Missed emails may result in missed flowers.
