  • Sourdough bread is the easiest bread to digest because of the fermentation that occurs when the grain mixtures use bacteria already present in the grains or pick up wild yeasts and bacteria from the environment.

Trying to eat healthier & cleaner

Why Sourdough? My story....


I have struggled with gluten intolerance for quite some time - constantly bloated, joint aches and pains, headaches, acne, fatigue, the list goes on and on. It was all I knew. I never really thought about it - this was my normal. Ten months ago, I found myself in the hospital with a severe diverticulitis flare. A few weeks later I was still miserable and was having random high fevers and feeling absolutely terrible. Turns out, I had developed an allergy to gluten. My body was literally attacking itself. 


I went through a complete gluten detox - this took 3+ months before I finally had a week of thinking “my stomach doesn’t hurt” - the joint pain is gone, energy restored, bloating resolved, and headaches - virtually none! I have struggled with complicated migraines since I was 12 years old - it was recommended to limit…


Hello! I am the proud owner of a descendant of Grace 😉, her name is Bubbles. I used the dehydrated Grace for my starter and with the step by step directions we were up and bubbling in no time!!! My son and I are having a blast learning and trying new things!
